The Birchtree Hotel - Dalbeattie

The food was awesome and the location was peaceful. Plus, I was just a short walk away from St Peter's. I went to a reasonably priced restaurant and loved the Italian dishes.

The room was a little bit small also Wi-Fi was kind of slow, made me a little nervous.

Absolutely fantastic rooms with a comfy bed available. About 5 minutes walk to bus stop.

Excellent was the festive lunch menu with perfectly presented dishes.

The ribeye steak cut was subpar and could be improved.

The meals were exceptional.

Comfortable room, friendly staff, and the great Scottish breakfast was a delicious highlight of my stay that provided the perfect energy to explore the local area, with a convenient off-site car park for easy access.

Comfortable rooms with a boutique feel, and the staff's friendliness stood out. Enjoying wood-fired pizzas and a fresh, cooked-to-order Scottish breakfast added to the experience. The lack of flexible room arrangements was a slight drawback, and there could have been more variety in the menu for longer stays. Some amenities were basic and could use an update.

The staff were super friendly and cute. Food was delish, especially the evening meal that was nicely presented. My room was clean and had a decent shower. Huge fluffy towels. It's in a great spot, easy to find in the center. Loved that it was full of locals, felt really cozy!

The room was a bit small for my taste, and the parking situation was tricky with no dedicated car park. The wifi was pretty weak, barely connected.

A bit quirky having the shower and sink right in the room, and there was some traffic noise in the morning. The fan in the WC was a bit of a puzzle, too-couldn't turn it off!

I had a lovely overnight stay. The staff were genuinely friendly. The room was clean and had excellent amenities. Breakfast included a fantastic variety, and the food quality was excellent. The location made it easy to explore nearby attractions 😊

This place is perfect for me with its cozy bar, friendly staff, and delicious food. They even helped my elderly parents during our first visit. I highly recommend staying here!

The large junior suite provided ample space. The fantastic bath in the room added a touch of luxury.

Enjoyed a chill stay with cozy decor, a relaxing outdoor beer garden, and a lively bar scene. The evening meal was a treat-highly recommend the salt and chilli chicken!
